Fall New York Performances from Conrad Tao
On October 30, Conrad takes a break from the piano to perform a program of electronic music at Roulette, in collaboration with improviser and vocalist Charmaine Lee
Conrad also makes his Lincoln Center debut with a solo piano recital on December 3, featuring music by Bach, Jason Eckardt, Rachmaninoff and Beethoven
Following that, Conrad will make his Lincoln Center debut on December 3 with a program that fuses Baroque, Romantic and Contemporary music. The mood is set with J.S. Bach’s virtuosic and improvisational Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue, which paves the way for Jason Eckardt’s richly dissonant Echoes’ White Veil, Rachmaninoff’s hauntingly beautiful Etude-Tableau in A minor, Op. 39 No. 2, and Beethoven’s tragic yet euphoric Piano Sonata in A-flat Major, Op. 110.
